This is my favourite kind of wandering: no grand destination, just a forest full of small things waiting for someone to notice them. The miniature moss forests, resting bumblebees, mushrooms peering from fallen wood, and that feather tucked behind your ear and forgotten for the day. Beautiful. Autumn is beginning to whisper. My favourite time of year! X
Thank you for your lovely comment Claire! You’re a wanderer just like me, then. I love that nature is full of little details. Noticing them takes time; you can’t rush past them. 🤗☕️
I really love your posts. They take me to the forest with you and I see it in new ways. And I think I might have some wild Nordic star flower! It’s growing in a pot that came with some Solomon seal from a friends garden here on the west coast of Canada.
Thank you for your kind words Tandi! That's why I write: I want to share the beauty of nature. And what a fun little surprise that came along with the pot!😊🫶🏼

Beautiful photos! I can smell autumn coming when I look at them.
Thank you Sharle! This early autumn is definitely the best time to be in the forest. 😊
I could feel the forest’s soul in both your words and your photos, Anna. Thanks for sharing.
