Love your writing and I share your affinity for bogs! I especially loved this line, "as if this island were caught in an endless autumn." So, so good.

Thank you, Anthony, for your lovely comment! Bogs are wonderful. Luckily, they’ve managed to stay wild and, as you once wrote so beautifully, they simply won’t let us build on them. 🫶🏼✨

Wow this place looks fascinating. I think it should be visited as the mood strikes. The colors of the moss are a natural palette aren’t they. Gorgeous!

Thank you David. It’s really special. Not something you see often, even though we spend a lot of time on the lake. I’m going to spend a night there in my hammock someday, perhaps hearing the sounds of a badger at night. 😊✨

Thank you so much for sharing this. Your descriptions and photos are so evocative. I live far from bog country now, so I like to dive into your stories.

Thank you for your lovely comment Tom. That cliffside bog is truly something special — not something you come across very often here.✨🌿

When I see your photos, I understand your fascination. And I wouldn’t mind visiting your bog myself.

Here are some photos from my morning today. The lake is the one I have sent you winter photos from earlier! I think I must take a walk there soon and take some more photos!

Tomorrow the weather forecast says rain. I do hope it is true this time…

Thank you Karen. 🫶🏼🌿I remember that lake — the one where you went skiing?

Let’s hope you get some rain there. What have the temperatures been like there?

It has been windy here. That’s a shame, we would have gone on a night trip to our nearest island but the wind is keeping us on our own shore.

Skating!

We have had 27-28 degrees lately, also a bit windy. But still possible to have the coffee on the terrace! Something I’m very fond of!

Ah, that’s what I meant, I just mixed up the words. Lovely that you get to enjoy a coffee on the terrace despite the heat. 😊☕️
